  1. Beautiful instrument. Great choice. Seems Michael is broad musically. What else does he play?

  2. He's very keen on the piano, also acoustic guitar, base guitar, double bass is his primary instrument. He did the jazz improvisation course at VCA but his tastes in music has broadened as he has grown older.

  3. Very impressive. He wouldn't ever get bored, would he? Was he musical from early childhood? I heard that the VCA was very Jazz oriented. What about classical? Do they still cater for that?

  4. Since the amalgamation with Melb.Uni School of Music, I believe the classical component of the VCA has been strenthened.
Michael played the acoustic guitar in primary school. Tried the violin and viola in year 7 and then lost interest until year 10. He then had a bit of catching up to do.
