Day 100 with Cafe Rebetika




Saw a wonderful play at the Melbourne Arts Centre called Cafe Rebetika written and directed by Stephen Helper,featuring amazing old Greek blues music and songs but touching story acted out in English.Unfortunately short premier season but this play should be going places.Pics show the Art Centre foyer, old sketch of Rebetika musos and the set on stage showing interior of a taverna, Pireas, Greece

    Would LOVE to see Sigrid Thornton in a Little Night Music (Opera Australia) Saw that musical years ago but splendid show - just a thought for you Tania!
